I did go to my ghetto WW meeting. I swear it is just like therapy there. It is all because of this amazing Leader. Plus there were only 8 of us total. Well therapy in which I do not talk the whole time about myself...but I take it all in. I felt so good after.
I had to own this gain and it turned out to only be .4 lbs.
So the chicken did have to move backwards.
glad it was a good meeting! And I think it's so significant that you just went -and didn't wait until you felt more comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Katie. It is awesome that you went, even though you suspected it wasn't going to be a great weigh in.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you that you've found a good leader. It has to really help with the accountablity.
I was going to suggest going anyway -- I'm so glad you went! I really dreaded weighing in this week, despite doing well all week minus Monday. It's always those weeks that surprise me. Glad yours was therapeutic!
ReplyDeleteI also agree with katie. Yesterday when you said you weren't going I could totally understand (I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks... not good) but I also thought "ruh roh" because I know for me that would have been a bad sign. So... I'm glad you went and that it was a positive experience.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much my fabulous friends:) I felt so much better after I decided to go. I feel refocused. And this was before I even got there. I totally would have gone down a slippery slope if I skipped it. And it is only my 2nd week so I don't have weeks of 'will power' and good habits built up yet.
ReplyDeleteSome friends of mine were getting together for a walk and lunch today. Though I could not make the walk (finally got my haircut), I hooked up with them for a coffee and talk. I very nearly did not go because of all of the stupid 'i'm fat' excuses. I am so glad I did go. I tend to 'hermit' when I am not feeling good about myself.
I go to a pilates class and then a kickboxing class tomorrow. Pray for me;)
Didn't you hear? Backwards is the new forwards! (According to my nephew when he was five, but still.)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jena for the comment! And a very wise one at that...your nephew is brilliant!
